In this project I tried to experiment with light and how it could respond to different senses while placing my LEDs in a model to play a little bit more with atmospheres that could emerge in a set design. In this example I used my hands as the input, trying to make the LEDs fade in and out as I move my hands in relation to the music. The closer my hand is near the sensor, the brighter the LEDs light. I wanted to figure out for further research if some sort of interaction like this could be realized within a choreography for example. The LEDs tremble because of the instability of the input that needs to be further improved. My next steps would be to activate each individual light separately through my movement and in this way try to “choreograph” light in a more creative way.
